Andrew has been image making since his schooldays but moved under water in 2000. After 11 years of diving he expanded into taking images of what he saw underwater to others. The whole spectrum of creatures and waters’ unique effects with light allow magical images to be captured in the last frontier on the planet, the oceans. Andrew enjoys nature’s images as well as pushing the limits with models, activities and special effects. Andrew also explores with photography of extreme sports and places (Red Bull BASE jump photographer Brixton tower 2004). He has been published in titles such as Divestyle, Travel Africa, Food and Home, Men’s Health, Marie Claire and SHAPE women’s magazine as well as winning international (2004 World Champion, www.underwaterphotography.com) and local awards (Fuji photo awards 2004).

Andrew now creates unique and adventurous expeditions to capture specialist images such as tuna and Mako sharks off Cape point, Tiger sharks and whales. In addition to the underwater exploits he continues to rock climb, mountain bike and photograph wild yoga.

Can't wait to see his face!
There just has to be a fabulous pic out there of Martin Prest's face beaming from ear to ear.
(Will someone please send it to me.) He managed a FIRST PLACE for his Digital Portfolio AND a SECOND PLACE for his Slide Portfolio. Its an extraordinary achievement. He had two days to shoot, just like everyone else. Congratulations Martin.
